Time relay - flasher at the beginning of the pulse, flasher at the beginning of the pause cyclic relay - symmetric / asymmetric cycle
Cyclic relay or cyclic time relay is used for periodic switching of electrical loads (e.g. lights, fans, etc.) or for powering control signals in automatic monitoring or control systems (e.g. turning on emergency flashing lights or sound signals). This cyclic timer can be useful for organizing automatic ventilation processes, opening and closing windows, periodic heating or ventilation activation, for lighting or rotating advertising signs.
If you configure the relay so that its on and off times are symmetrical, it can be used, for example, for the gradual switching on of certain electrical appliances in case of power/current restrictions (heaters, thermal generators). The presence of a switching output contact allows the cycle to be started either impulsively or with a pause.
